Ordering & Policies

Thank you for supporting Red & Oak Co. Every bag you order helps us glorify God through excellent coffee, honest work, and generous giving. Below, you’ll find information on how ordering, shipping, and returns work.

Ordering

All of our coffees are roasted in small batches with a trusted partner roaster and packed to order as inventory allows. To ensure your coffee arrives fresh, please note that some orders may take a few extra days to fulfill, depending on roast schedules.

Once your order is placed, you’ll receive an email confirmation. When your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking number, allowing you to track it as it makes its way to your door.

Shipping

  • Where we ship: Currently, we ship within the United States.
  • Carriers: We primarily use USPS and/or UPS.
  • Processing time: Most orders ship within 3–5 business days. During holidays or special releases, it may take a bit longer.
  • Shipping rates: Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your order and location.

If your order is time-sensitive or requires delivery by a specific date, please contact us at hello@redandoak.com, and we’ll do our best to assist you.

Local Pickup

If local pickup is enabled at checkout, you’ll receive an email when your order is ready, along with pickup details. Please wait for that confirmation before arriving.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements

Coffee is a fresh food product, so we are not able to accept returns once the bags have left our hands. That said, we always want to make things right.

  • Damaged or Incorrect Orders: If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or with a quality issue, please email a photo and your order number to hello@redandoak.com within seven days of delivery. We will work with you to provide a replacement or refund.
  • Taste preferences: Taste is subjective, and we can’t guarantee that every coffee will become your new favorite, but we do stand behind the freshness and quality of our products. If something feels off, please don't hesitate to reach out so we can learn and improve.

Lost or Delayed Packages

Once an order is handed to the carrier, tracking and delivery timelines are managed by them. If tracking shows “delivered” but you haven’t received your package, please:

  1. Double-check the shipping address on your order confirmation.
  2. Check with neighbors, household members, or your building office.
  3. Wait 1–2 business days to see if it arrives late.

Pricing, Taxes & Payment

  • Pricing: All prices are listed in USD and are subject to change over time as costs fluctuate.
  • Sales tax: Applicable sales tax will be calculated at checkout based on your shipping address and current laws.
  • Payment methods: We accept major credit/debit cards and other options as shown at checkout.

Giving & Mission

Red & Oak donates 10% of the pre-tax, pre-shipping product price from every coffee bag to mission partners. Donations are accrued weekly and distributed quarterly. Updates and receipts are shared on our /give page.

Purchases from Red & Oak Co. are not tax-deductible for customers. We give from our revenue; you’re supporting that generosity simply by placing an order.
